Rhythm Kitchen

I am inspired by the sunshine flavours of one of the best restaurants at Westfield Stratford – Rhythm Kitchen. Eat in or take out, on the go or a calm sit down, I couldn’t ask for anything more than good vibes, big servings and big flavours. Oh yes the zest and the zing.

Celebrating all things Jerk, the Jerk Father has created a menu dedicated to the much loved seasoning of the Caribbean adding a particular fragrance, spiciness and a lot of personality to some wonderful dishes.

Be ready to refuel your engines with Jerk chicken, BBQ ribs, lamb roti, lamb curry and ting (grapefruit crush). Some main plates comes with 2 sides of your choice including macaroni cheese, jerk chips, rice n peas and fried plantain.

Fried Plantain

The highlights:

  • The lamb was tender from the fatty cuts of meat and the curry was strong in flavour, similar to an Indian curry.
  • The BBQ ribs were succulent and had a sweet glaze with a hint of jerk seasoning.
  • Chips are crispy and lightly seasoned with jerk seasoning for additional flavour.
  • Fried plantain was somewhere between a potato and a banana – sweet and starchy.

Rhythm Kitchen offers 20% discounts with valid vouchers from the Westfield store guide placed all over the shopping centre and I highly recommend everyone equip themselves with one of these. They’re packed with discounts of 2 for 1s, 20% offs and the free milkshake/cookie here and there.

So for an affordable and tasty break from your saturday afternoon shopping, keep moving along the second floor food court until you reach your sunshine destination at the very end.
