Outsider tart

Take me to New York right now!! But before I can take a bite of the big apple, this snickers brownie will do…

In a cute village in W4 surrounded by greenery, amongst the congregation of yummy mummies crowded in coffee shops chatting about their little one’s first hair cuts etc, I saw this unique looking establishment on the corner of the high road and as first impressions go…is this a gallery? a repair shop?

This is not just an ordinary cake shop. Created by two New Yorkers bringing the flavour of the big apple (because everything is bigger in america), this place is filled with sweet childhood memories and then some. Tables and shelves from top to bottom filled with classic red velvets, white chocolate pecan, whoopie pies, deep fried cherry pastry, you cannot bust your diet quicker than you do here. Go big or go home.

This bakery is perfect for a spot of brunch, coffee or a naughty sweet stop while taking your dog out for a morning walk. The cafe is also equipped with a mini mart full of dog biscuits so you can treat your little munchkin too.

We had the chocolate and cookie brownie, a deconstructed snickers brownie, orange and cream soda drink and dragon pearl jasmine tea.

Select a drink with your dessert and it all comes in for under a fiver.

The lovely people at Outsider Tart have even created their own cookbook for you to recreate the recipes at home for £16.99.

Overall this place is great and to fully appreciate it you need to try as many of the sweets as possible because this truly is a sugar heaven.

Ps. DO NOT FEAR very healthy food places are on their way, I need to prepare my body for the summer!

  1. Having read this I believed it was really enlightening.

I appreciate you spending some time and energy to put this content together.
I once again find myself personally spending way too much time both reading and leaving comments.

But so what, it was still worth it!

What do you think?
